Our current approach
411 currently uses only cookies and browser storage needed to sign users in, protect the service, remember operational interface choices and preserve work in progress. We do not currently use advertising or third-party marketing cookies, and we do not use analytics cookies in the 411 application.
What is stored
- Authentication and security: session information needed to sign in, maintain secure access and prevent misuse.
- Interface preference: a sidebar-state cookie that remembers whether the desktop navigation is open. It expires after approximately seven days.
- Local and session storage: temporary job completion drafts, navigation position and pending workflow state so work is not unnecessarily lost or repeated.
Your choices
Because this storage is strictly necessary for the requested service, it is used without an optional-cookie consent banner. Blocking or deleting it in browser settings may sign you out, remove unsaved drafts or prevent parts of 411 from working correctly.
If we introduce optional analytics, advertising or similar technology, we will update this notice and request consent before activating it where required.
